I remember back in 2008 when A. A. Bondy was promoting his new LP “American Hearts,” I totally fell in love with his bedroom voice and sweet folk-blues. Still to this day I have yet to catch one of his shows and was super bummed that I was going to miss his set at The Echo this past Jan. 16 with Nik Freitas and Willy Mason. As always, I was out of town, but managed to send our faithful photog, Craig, on over to the Echo to shoot some photos. And of course, all my friends that attended had to rub-in how damn great the show was … fuck.
His new album “When the Devil’s Loose” is all sort of goods. The man’s got lyrics that tell a story, fit to make Dylan proud.
