Earlier today, Billie Eilish announced an extensive tour run. The beloved singer revealed details for her  Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour, which will begin in North America on Sept. 29 and include three shows at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, stops in Denver, Atlanta, New York, and many more tour dates.

Fans across various social media platforms have been wondering how to get Billie Eilish presale tickets and where to get a presale code. The answer is quite simple for most avid concert-goers, especially if you read our previous post, which gives fans step-by-step details on how to easily purchase Billie Eilish tickets and what to expect. But now, we’re going to focus on the presale.

First, it’s important to know that all Billie Eilish tickets will be sold via Ticketmaster. Do not purchase them from anywhere else because they will simply be unavailable. Eilish even expressed on her Instagram the importance of this and to beware of scammers.

In fact, Eilish has chosen to make her tickets non-transferable once purchased, so scalpers can’t resell them. To make this possible, she will use Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange. If, for some reason, a fan who purchased a ticket can no longer make it to her show, they’ll have the option to resell it to another fan at the original price paid, but only through Ticketmaster’s Face Value Exchange.

How Does the American Express Presale Work?

There are two different American Express presales for Billie Eilish’s tour: American Express® Early Access and American Express® Preferred Access. Both AMEX presales begin Tuesday, April 30, at 12pm local time and will be accessible through Eilish’s Ticketmaster event page. All you need to do is select your tour date and have your American Express card handy.

American Express® Early Access

I love the American Express® Early Access presale offers. It makes buying presale tickets to high-demand tours a piece of cake. Once you add your American Express card to your billing details in your Ticketmaster account, you pretty much don’t need to do anything else except select your preferred tour date once the presale begins. From there on, it’s all automatic. You don’t need to enter a presale code or anything else. Just select your tour date and then select your ticket type, and voila! You will see you’ll have instant access to purchasing those Billie Eilish presale tickets.

American Express® Preferred Access

Your other option is the American Express® Preferred Access presale. This presale is pretty much the same as the Early Acess presale, but you actually have to enter a code. Select seats are saved just for this presale. When you select your Billie Eilish tour date and decide to go for this AMEX presale, you will be asked to enter the 10-digit phone number on the back of your American Express card. Once you do that, you’ll have instant access to select AMEX presale seats.

Pro tip: select both American Express presale options and snag the ticket(s) that best suit your needs.

How To Get a Billie Eilish Artist Presale Code?

Ooof. I hate to burst your bubble, but you might not receive a presale code unless you’ve previously registered for her tours. Artist presale codes were sent out on Monday morning, April 29. Fans who have previously registered for her tours were given a unique presale code.

But don’t give up hope! We highly recommend you sign up for her newsletter if you haven’t already done so. Artists often also send a unique presale code to fans who have subscribed to their mailing list. If this is indeed the case, the presale code will be emailed to you 1-2 hours before the presale begins. After all, Billie Eilish did indeed share on her Instagram that there are “various pre-sales – details emailed.”

Billie Eilish’s artist presale will begin on Tuesday, April 30, at 12pm local time.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) at least 15 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.

Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!
