Eager fans have been wild over an upcoming Shakira world tour ever since the bilingual singer started releasing new music and teasing a potential 2024 tour. And just this past weekend, during Shak’s surprise Coachella performance alongside Bizarrap, Shakira shared she would officially announce her tour next week, and the beloved singer delivered!
This will be Shakira‘s first tour in six years. With her 2018 El Dorado Tour selling out arenas and stadiums, we expect her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour to sell out quickly.
Fans wondering how this is a world tour if there are only North American tour dates can rest assured that Shakira will add more of show dates to her tour route. When Do Shakira Tickets Go On Sale?
Tickets to Shakira go on sale to the general public on Monday, April 22, at 10 AM local time. A presale code is not required for the general sale. Fans can get presale tickets as early as Wednesday, April 17, through one of many presale opportunities. Presale codes are, however, required for presale tickets, except for VIP packages and official platinum tickets. Both premium ticket options are often available on the first day of the first presale. VIP tickets will include perks (see below), and official platinum tickets don’t include any VIP perks. Official Platinum tickets are more expensive than general admission tickets and offer quick and easy access to some of the best seats without the need for a presale code.
What is the Shakira Presale Code?
Fans can choose from a variety of presale options. Whether you choose Shakira’s Wolfpack presale or the VIP presale, it doesn’t matter; they will all be sold via Ticketmaster. If you see ticket listings anywhere else, such as third-party resellers, don’t be fooled. Resale tickets should only be used when the official Ticketmaster tickets have sold out.
VIP Presale
Presale tickets to Shakira‘s world tour will be available on Wednesday, April 17, at 10 AM local time, starting with the VIP tickets presale. You do not need a presale code for this option. Just select your preferred Shakira tour date, look for the VIP ticket options, and you will have immediate access.
VIP tickets include a variety of perks, such as premium front-row tickets, a meet-and-greet and photo op with Shakira, an autographed item, access to the pre-show VIP lounge, an exclusive VIP merch item, and more. Please note: VIP packages vary, but you can see each package for more details.
Citi Card Presale
The Citi card presale also begins Wednesday, April 17, at 10 AM local time. If you have a Citi card, you can participate in this presale. All you need to do is select your tour date and use the first 6 digits of your Citi® credit card or Citibank® Debit Card as the presale code.
Artist Presale
Shakira’s artist presale will follow on Friday, April 19, at 10 AM local time. We recommend you bookmark your preferred Shakira tour date and then check back with us later for the presale code, or sign up to be part of her Wolfpack and have the presale code emailed to you directly.
Promoter Presale
A promoter presale will also kick off on Friday, April 19 at 12 PM local time. To access this presale, select your Shakira tour date and enter the following presale code when asked: RIFF.
All remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, April 22, at 10 AM local time.
Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets
First, on the day of the presale or general onsale (whichever you prefer), login to your Ticketmaster account (go to my account or sign in located on the upper right corner of the page) at least 15 minutes ahead of the sale time. If you don’t have one, create one now.
Be sure to add your billing info (aka credit card info) before jumping into the digital queue for a quick check-out. Once the presale starts, remain in the digital queue. Only use one browser window because using multiple browsers or devices and multiple accounts with the same phone number can result in errors. Trust, it’s happened to us before! Don’t refresh your page, do be patient, don’t leave your page, do get those tickets!
What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?
If tickets sell out, your other option is to buy them via online resellers like VividSeats or StubHub. When all else fails, we prefer these resell options because both offer a 100% Guarantee. You can also purchase resell tickets through Ticketmaster’s resell program. Just search for the concert or event you want to attend, and see if they have any resell tickets available. We recommend you compare the three options and find out which works best for you.
Alternatively, you can hit it old school style and show up at the concert when the box office opens and wish upon a star that they release more tickets, or hopefully, another concert-goer has an extra ticket to sell at face-value or even giveaway for free. Trust, this happens more often than not! We’ve given away many tickets to sold-out shows simply because our +1 couldn’t make it.
Also, more standard tickets are often released via Ticketmaster 1-3 days leading up to the show date. We’ve seen it with Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Arctic Monkeys and many more! It’s a secret gatekeeped by many, but if you’re reading this, now you know! So be sure to set your calendar notifications!
