Booker T. Jones, the famed multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, record producer, and music-man extraordinaire is set to headline the El Rey Theatre on June 25 with some very special guests. Better known as the frontman of Booker T. & the M.G.’s, we’re sure you’ve heard his classic instrumental “Green Onions” (watch the video below to refresh your memory). Booker T. has also recorded with everyone from Otis Redding, Ray Charles and Bob Dylan to Yim Yames, Quest Love, and Sharon Jones.
Tickets to Booker T. Jones at El Rey Theatre on June 25 are priced at $35 + service fees and will go on sale this Friday, May 17 at 10am.
