Brooklyn’s Bear in Heaven just headlined The Echo with a stunning set in support of their new album, I Love You, It’s Cool, set for release this April. The dashing trio bursted with plenty of psychedelic beats and riffs that kept fans twisting in their skinny jeans. Front man Jon Philpot, enamored the crowd with his bowie-esque vocals as the band kept fans engaged with their sweet textured swirls and sugary layers.

Equally enticing, pulling a huge draw of fans—Blouse really did a phenomenal job. In fact, I think most of the show-goers at the Echo this fine evening, were here especially for Blouse! The Portland trio were oh-so-dreamy bustling with tantalizing electro-pop to sooth that dancing soul. It was soft and ethereal, but still bubbling with the sweet electronic beats and synths to keep those dancing shoes dancing.
