We just ran a contest for The Joy Formidable‘s upcoming private penthouse performance at the 98.7FM Hollywood Tower and now we have tickets to their headlining show at the El Rey Theatre on Wednesday, Sept. 14! If you have yet to listen to these indie darlings, we suggest you enter this ticket give-away. They’re truly an engaging band and to top it all of they’re playing with supporting acts Telekinesis and Races. Tickets to the show are $20 + service fees and open to all ages. Thanks to Goldenvoice we have some free tickets to contest off! Show starts at 8:30 p.m.!

You must have a Twitter or Facebook to enter the contest. First make sure you’re following Grimy Goods on Twitter here and/or “like” our Facebook page here. We’ll pick winners at random by Tuesday, Sept. 13. The winners will be direct messaged on Twitter or contacted below their contest entry comment on the Grimy Goods Facebook page. Winners will have until noon Wednesday, Sept. 14 to claim their win or the tickets will be forfeited. To increase your chances, enter the contest both ways!
