Obits are the shit and not only because they’re past members of Drive Like Jehu and Hot Snakes (which both kick ass) but they just straight up know what’s up. If you’re a fan of 60s garage in the likes of The Seeds and The Sonics, you’ll dig Obits. With a mix of garage and surf rock, these fellahs are fans of the oldies and you can hear their musical knowledge in the tunes they blast out. Obits are playing the Satellite on Wednesday, Aug. 24 with support by Disappears and Beaters. We have tickets to give away thanks to our buddies at the Satellite.
