Brooklyn-based rap rebel Beans, (also part of one of our fave hip hop groups, Antipop Consortium) has released a dope new video for “Blue Movie” off his fourth and latest release, End It All. The track was produced by Anticon labelmate, Son Lux. It’s a sexy montage of images that may not be too safe for work but will surely get that blood pumpin’ with its quick girl-on-girl intergalactic imagery and fierce beats and rhymes … dope.
Beans new album End It All was released on Feb. 15 and is some definite fresh shit! With 13 tracks in 33 minutes it is his first album to feature all guest production, and it finds the emcee pushing his distinct staccato rhyme style to new heights with an extraordinary array of new sound elements.
If you’re headed to SXSW, be sure to catch Beans at one of his showcases (we’ll be there!). Beans has also announced NEW tour dates with Tobacco! Check out the dates below.

[...] With four solo projects under his belt, this MC has got his sh*t on lock. The album’s first single “Blue Movie,” a Son Lux original that trades in lush orchestral bursts and fuzzy drum pileups, really sets the tone for the rest of the album. Filled with epic lyrics that sums up the MC and his talents like: “I don’t step aside, I step up. So if you speakin’ shut up, this kid is about to erupt…New York, my mic is on fire,” which in my opinion is the best verse of the album. The video is pretty cool and a bit risqué with some girl-on-girl intergalactic action. Peep it here. [...]
Sweet! Dope post GG! Thanks
