*****UPDATED INFO END*****

I absolutely hate Vegas. The annoying clubs and all the douches and douchettes in them. It’s like grand central for all them Ed Hardy, Affliction wearing donkey holes. But, when a killer line-up of shows like this happens to be held in Sin City, you best believe I’ll be on a quick South West flight (or party bus) out there.

Check it out: Matador will be celebrating its 21st anniversary this October 1 – 3, 2010 at the celebdazzled Palms Casino & Resort in Las Vegas. The Matablog will announce the full line-up on July 5th, but until then drool over these hot bands: Guided By Voices (classic line-up!), Sonic Youth, Belle & Sebastian, Spoon, Yo La Tengo, Pavement, The John Spencer Blues Explosion, Cat Power, Harlem, Cold Cave, Super Chunk, Girls, Fucked Up and a shit load more! Bring your bikini and board shorts, and get ready for some tunes and pool action!

Tips:

Arrive by Friday Oct. 1 in the afternoon and check out Monday, Oct. 4.  Oh, and don’t even think about booking a room at the Palms unless you got some serious dough, hooks or know the Maloofs.

LA peeps, I say we get a party bus to-and-from. Who’s down?
