Opening up for the Local Natives this past, Dec 22, 2009, at The Echo was a pretty sweet band I had yet to hear of: Cheif! Yet another hot rockin’ band populated out of LA. These dude’s got some hair and great tunes to match. Check em’ out!
Chief started the night and set the bar high with a killer combination of hair and harmonies. These guys sing together sweetly, but there’s mischief in their sounds and swagger. After introducing themselves, their dreamy Johnny Depp look-a-like drummer let us all know, “There’s a lot of fine pussy out there tonight!” Well, hellooo Chief!
