The XX at Henry Fonda Theatre – Video and Review
Wow. How have I not caught on to this stellar band until Wednesday, Nov. 21 at the Henry Fonda Theatre? The XX is such beautifully luscious music. A lil bittersweet and at times arousing. Opening up for Friendly Fires, it was pretty evident that at least half the crowd there was for The XX. Crystal Antlers at the El Rey Theatre – Photo Gallery

Freelance Whales at the Echo – Photo Gallery and Review

Fanfarlo at The Echo – Photo Gallery and Review
What happens when you spend months totally loving an album? Obviously you do everything you can to go see that band play. Apparently a lot of other people felt that way about Fanfarlo’s Reservoir because there was a thick line before the doors opened at The Echo, and there were plenty of kids with hopeful eyes and pouty mouths asking for tickets to the sold-out show. Neon Indian at the Echoplex – Show Review and Video
Some people say they’re overrated, some people say they’re red hot! Austin/Brooklyn’s rapidly rising electro outfit, Neon Indian, played their first show of their first headlining tour this past Friday, Nov. 20 at the Echoplex. The venue had a great turn out, which I think was also in part to Tigercity. Unfortunatley, we came a lil too late and missed Tigercity. Super bummed, but I heard they were FANTASTIC!
