Sunset Junction 2008

Awe yeeeah, the hip LA communities of Silver Lake, Los Feliz and Echo Park (know as the Sunset Junction) are at it again with the 28th annual Sunset Junction street festival. If you haven’t been to this awesome musical event that only gets better each year, I highly recommend it! It’s unfortunate the legendary Isaac Hayes recently passed away, as he was the headlining talent for this event. But fear not, I’m sure there will be mad love for the man by the list of amazing performers both local and big: The Black Keys, The Cold War Kids, Broken Social Scene, CHK CHK CHK, Kinky, and more! There’s even a skate park and valet bicycle parking for all you hipster cyclists. So get on it August 23 and 24.
