Check out The Yolks!

It’s funny how musical genres die and get revived. First it was 70’s style punk, then electro rock(new wave), to now what seems to be a revival of psychedelic blues and late 60’s garage. I always love the new spin these awe inspired bands of today put on the past greats: the shit sounds good. Well here’s another kick ass garage punk band to shake those hipst to. Hailing from Chi town The Yolks are a groovy bunch. They definitely got  some stylin’ smooth vocals and body moving instrumentals, thus “Puttin’ the soul back in rock n’ roll” (as they say). Give these boys a listen you won’t be disappointed.
